What we collect

• Your email address, used for authentication and account communication
• Your CV content — name, work history, education, skills, and contact details you provide
• Job search queries and results you generate
• Job application data you enter into the tracker
• Usage counts for rate limiting and plan enforcement
• Billing information — handled by our payment processor; we do not store card numbers

How we use your data

• To provide the service — optimizing your resume, generating CVs, cover letters, and interview questions
• To manage your account, subscription, and usage limits
• To send transactional emails — account confirmation, password reset, billing receipts
• We do not sell your data to third parties
• We do not share your data with employers, recruiters, or immigration authorities

Data storage and security

Your data is stored on secure cloud servers, with Canadian-region storage as the default. Data is retained as long as your account is active. Access to your data is restricted to you only. We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest.

AI processing

Your CV text and job descriptions are processed by AI to generate tailored resumes and other outputs. This processing is performed on your behalf solely to provide the service. AI-processed data is not used to build advertising profiles or sold to any party.

Cookies

ResumeRadar uses session cookies required for authentication only. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Your rights

Under PIPEDA (Canada), you have the right to:

• Access all personal data we hold — go to Settings → Export my data
• Delete your data and close your account — go to Settings → Delete account
• Request a correction if any data we hold is inaccurate
• Withdraw consent by stopping use of the service and requesting full deletion

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you by email for any material changes. Continued use of the platform after an update constitutes acceptance.
